The Village of West Clay was developed as a mix of neighborhoods grouped around a series of pocket parks anchored by the central Village Park. Mixed use blocks form the park's southern border with dense mulitfamily blocks on the north side.
Neighborhood pocket parks are focal points for passive gathering and planned activities.
Some parks are active playing fields featuring architectural elements.
Residential uses gain density nearer to the central park.
At the north end of the central park, the residential density becomes larger scale flats buildings that create the park's northern edge.
The central park expands to the south of the three story flats buildings as a mix of formal gardens, open space and programed playground space with both shade and sunny spaces.
